Materials required:
- Stiff cardboard
- PVA Glue
- Scissors or Craft Knife
- White stones (purchase here)
stepone
Firstly, prepare your area by laying some olds newspapers out flat on a table for you to work on. This is a messy project, so protect your
surroundings well - ideally work outside if it's a dry day.

Using a pencil lightly sketch out the shape of your road(s) onto cardboard and cut out accordingly. For our example, our path
was approximately 2" wide by 1ft long. Creating a mixture of curvy and
straight path sections will add lots of character in your lemax
village. For long or large roads, create smaller sections that you can piece together - this makes your roads easier to move and to store after
Christmas.

|
stepthree
Brush PVA glue liberally onto the road ensuring the entire area is covered well - never allow the glue to dry at this
stage...
Generously sprinkle White stones over the tacky glue road. Allow a minute to settle then pick up the road and give it a gentle
shake to loosen rogue stones. Repeat again until you are satisfied the whole road is covered evenly.
Allow to dry overnight.

|
stepfour
You may need to 'touch up' parts of your road with a layer of glue and fresh stones from the previous stage - this time though, you may
need to place the stones individually rather than sprinkle at random. Once again allow to dry thoroughly before continuing.
Once completely dry, some lemax villagers may wish paint a coat of PVA glue over your road to add strength and a shimmer appearance.
Well done! You've finished and your villagers have somewhere to walk on!

littletips
- Create instant village paths by adding your stones directly onto your snow blanket. These look effective and can be reused again and again
- White stones are great for holding things firmly in place, like tall street lights and wires
- Stones add character to landscaping, so place some near your village houses, forests or fences
